It authorized to discuss and sign with the Qatari side regarding draft agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Saudi Arabia and Qatar for cooperation in the areas of encouraging direct investment, the work of central banks, nuclear safety and radiation protection, the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income, and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance. The Cabinet approved a tripartite agreement among Saudi Arabia, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education on the renewal of the center as center (2nd category) under the supervision of UNESCO. It approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Export Development Authority and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China for cooperation in the field of participation of Saudi Arabia as a guest of honor in the China-Arab States Expo.
