RIYADH — The matches of King Salman's Cup for Arab Clubs 2023 will kick off on Thursday, with the participation of 16 clubs divided into 4 groups. The tournament, which is organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), is hosted by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation in Taif, Abha and Al-Baha from 27 July until the 12 August. The first group includes Esperance Tunis, Tunisian Sfaxien, Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia and the Iraq Police. The second group includes the Saudi club Al-Hilal, Morocco's Wydad, Al Sadd of Qatar, and Libya's Al Ahli Tripoli. In the third group, Egyptian Zamalek, Saudi clubs of Al-Nasr and Al-Shabab, and Tunisia's Union Sportive Monastirienne will test each other. The fourth group will have Morocco's Raja, Algerian Chabab Belouizdad, Kuwait Sports Club, and Al Wahda from the UAE. The first matches of Group One will be held on Thursday at King Fahad Sports City in Taif, where the Tunisian Sfaxien will clash with the Iraqi Police at 6:00 p.m., while the Saudi Al-Ittihad will play against the Tunisian Esperance at 10:00 p.m. The matches of the second group will also be held on Thursday at Prince Sultan City in Abha, where the Moroccan Wydad will meet with Al Sadd of Qatar at 4:00 p.m. The Saudi Al-Hilal will play against the Libyan Al Ahli Tripoli at 8:00 p.m. The UAFA has clarified that people can buy the tickets for the King Salman's Cup for Arab Clubs 2023 from the link: uafa.ticketmx.com
