JAKARTA — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has met with several of his counterparts on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the Kingdom's accession document to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, which was held in Jakarta. Prince Faisal met with his Malaysian counterpart Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir and the two reviewed the cooperation relations of the two Kingdoms and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields in a way that serve the aspirations of the two countries. They also discussed the most important developments on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts made in this regard. The two sides discussed aspects of intensifying joint coordination in the political field, as well as and consolidating economic cooperation to achieve common interests. Additionally, Prince Faisal has met with the 2nd Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam Dato Erywan Yusof, during which they reviewed the relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen them in all fields. Both of the counterparts exchanged views on developments in the international arena, in addition to discussing the opportunities to enhance the bilateral and multilateral cooperation on all issues of common concern. Moreover, Prince Faisal met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, where the two sides reviewed the relations between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, and ways to develop them in all fields. The two foreign ministers exchanged views on the development in the international arena, in addition to discussing opportunities to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation in all issues of common interests. It is worth mentioning that all the meetings were attended by Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Indonesia Faisal Al-Amoudi and the Director General of the Foreign Minister's office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
