MINA — On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman received several princes, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, scholars, sheikhs, ministers, high ranking civilian and military officials and prominent figures from the Gulf Cooperation Council states at the royal court of Mina Palace on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, the Crown Prince lauded the great sacrifices, being made by them to safeguard Saudi Arabia and its sanctities.
"The great sacrifices, acts of honor, and heroism that you make, in order to preserve the security of your country and its sanctities, is an approach followed by the people of this country since its founding, and they will not hesitate to protect its security, maintain its stability, and preserve its capabilities," he said.
Prince Mohammed Bin Salman continued saying: "Your continuous efforts, together with other state agencies, to serve the pilgrims and to ensure their comfort and maintain their security, is a matter of great pride and we will continue to make efforts and harness the capabilities in order to facilitate the smooth performance of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj for all the time to come."
On behalf of King Salman, the Crown Prince congratulated the dignitaries, Saudi citizens, expatriates and Hajj pilgrims on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha. He also attended a luncheon banquet along with the guests.

Al-Bassami emphasized that the success achieved by the Hajj security plans for this year, since the arrival of the first pilgrims to the land of the Kingdom until this moment, was in compliance with the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince, and under the direct supervision of Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, and the follow-up of the Emir of the Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and Emir of Madinah and Chairman of the Hajj and Visit Committee Prince Faisal Bin Salman.
