RIYADH — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan made on Tuesday separate phone calls with President of Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Commander of the Rapid Support Forces Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo. Prince Faisal discussed with the two leaders the latest developments in Sudan. During the phone conversations, the foreign minister underlined the need for finding political solution to the Sudanese crisis, in a way that guarantees the return of security and stability to Sudan and its people. He also renewed the Kingdom's call for maintaining calm, giving priority to the national interests, and cessation of all forms of military escalation. Prince Faisal emphasized the importance of the commitment of all Sudanese parties to restore the course of humanitarian work, protect civilians and relief workers, and ensure the safety of humanitarian corridors for the dispatch of basic humanitarian aid.
