RIYADH — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan received on Sunday a phone call from his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian. During the phone call, they discussed several topics of interest to Saudi Arabia and Iran, in addition to discussing the upcoming steps in light of the recent trilateral agreement. It is noteworthy that the Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers have agreed earlier to hold bilateral talks during the holy month of Ramadan, Saudi Arabia and Iran announced on March 10 the resumption of diplomatic relations that was severed in 2016, in a deal brokered by China. The three countries announced that an agreement has been reached between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which includes a deal to reopen their embassies and missions within two months.
