RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has distributed more than 31 tons of food materials in several countries during the holy month of Ramadan. This comes within the relief and humanitarian projects that Saudi Arabia is providing during Ramadan. KSRelief has distributed 9 tons of food baskets in Kouffo department of Benin, where 900 individuals have benefited from. While in Elbasan of Albania, the center has distributed 4 tons of food baskets, benefiting 300 individuals, which comes as part of the food basket project in Albania for the year 2023. Several shelter materials have been distributed to the earthquake-affected victims in many countryside of Idlib, northern Syria, including 200 sleeping mattresses, 200 blankets, and 100 tents, benefiting 536 individuals of 100 families. While 1,500 food baskets were distributed in Central Darfur State, Sudan, benefiting 11,340 individuals of the neediest categories. Eight tons of food baskets have benefited 600 people of the neediest groups in N'Djamena, the capital of Chad. In Kumasi city, Ghana, KSrelief has distributed 910 food baskets to the neediest categories, which benefited 5,400 individuals. Moreover, 10 tons of Ramadan food baskets were distributed to 500 people in Prizren city in Kosovo. KSrelief has also distributed 1,000 food baskets in the city of Atra, Bangladesh, benefiting 6,000 individuals of 1,000 families. While in Lebanon, the ambulance of Subul Al Salam Association in Miniyeh region in North of Lebanon, has carried out 61 emergency missions within the last week with a fund from KSRelief. This comes within the framework of the project to support the services and ambulatory transportation in refugee areas and the host community in Lebanon.
