JEDDAH — Weather fluctuations are expected to witness most regions of Saudi Arabia, starting from Thursday to Saturday, March 11, according to the latest forecast of the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). In its report, the center warned of moderate to heavy thunderstorms in Buraidah, Unayzah, Al-Rass, and most of the governorates in the region of Al-Qassim; Hail, Baqa'a, Al-Ghazala, Al-Shannan and most of the governorates in the Hail region; Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Qaisumah, Al-Nairyah, and Qaryat Al-Olaya in the Eastern Province; and Afeef, Al-Dawadmi, Shaqra Al-Majma'a, Al-Zulfi, and Al-Ghat in the Riyadh region. The thunderstorms will be accompanied by active winds, sandstorms, torrential rain, and hail. The NCM forecast stated that light to medium thunderstorms, accompanied by sandstorms and hail, will witness on Friday and Saturday in Riyadh city, Diriyah, Al-Kharj, Dharma, Al-Quwaiyah, Ramah, Al-Muzahimiyah, Huraymila, Al-Aflaj, and Wadi Al-Dawasir in the Riyadh region; and in Dammam, Al-Khobar, Dhahran, Qatif, Jubail, and Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province. The center also indicated in its report that moderate thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds, causing dust and hail, will witness in the following regions from Thursday to Saturday. Abha, Khamees Mushayt, Bisha, Sarat Ubaid, Ahad Rufaidah, Al-Harjah, Tathleeth, A-Namas, Balqarn, Al-Majaridah, Mahayil, Bariq, Tanumah, Al-Rabwa and Al-Harijah in the Asir region; Al-Baha, Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Al-Qura, Al-Aqiq, Qilwa, Al-Makhwah, Bani Hassan, Al-Hajrah, and Ghamid Al-Zanad in the Al-Baha region; and Najran, Habouna, and Badr South in the Najran region; and Jazan, Sabya, Abu Arish, Baysh, Fifa, Al-Raith, Al-Dayer, Al-Ardah Al-Khouba, and Al-Shaqiq in the Jazan region; and Taif, Maysan, Al-Ardiyat, Adham, Turbah, Al-Khurma, Rania, and Al-Mowaih in the Makkah region.
