RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has permitted the hiring of workers in 13 new professions through its Musaned electronic platform. These professions include female private driver, home guard and private tutor. The decision was part of the ministry's continuous work to develop the domestic labor sector in the Kingdom by providing technical solutions and integrated electronic services to raise the quality of recruitment, preserve rights, regulate the contractual relationship between all concerned parties, and enable the highest levels of monitoring. The new professions available for recruitment via Musaned also include personal care worker, home tailor, home manager, home farmer, home coffee maker, home traveler, home attendant, private speech and hearing specialist, personal assistant, and support worker. The Musaned platform works to organize and automate the recruitment process in an integrated manner, as it contributes to providing an integrated recruitment journey, which begins by enabling the customers to review all recruitment offices in the Kingdom, and choose the most suitable one for them according to a set of data. These include specifying nationalities, professions, prices, or the reviews by previous clients, and so on, without the need to personally visit the ministry's offices. Musaned is the portal launched by MHRSD to deal with the hiring of domestic workers. The platform is an integrated electronic system to facilitate procedures for the recruitment of domestic workers as well as to enhance the level of protection of the rights of all parties involved in the labor contract.
