RIYADH — The total amount of the Saudi popular campaign' donations to relief the earthquake-affected people in Turkey and Syria has reached more than SR440 million. Sixteen days after the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched the campaign through the Sahem platform, the number of donors who donated in the campaign reached about 1.8 million. KSRelief has launched this humanitarian campaign in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, to help those affected by the earthquake which occurred in Turkey and Syria recently. It is worth mentioning that the Saudi search and rescue team has left Turkey, after spending more than two weeks, to help search for victims of the earthquake that shook the country and resulted in the death of more than 43,000 people and injured thousands.
