Emerging and transformational technologies take center stage at LEAP 2023
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 02 - 2023

Following last year's success, LEAP 2023 is all set to kick off its second edition from February 6 - 8, 2023 at the Riyadh Front Expo Centre in Saudi Arabia. Launched under the title "Towards New Horizons," the region's most anticipated tech conference is expecting over 900 local and international companies and will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, Web 3.0, the Metaverse, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions, green tech and other ground-breaking technologies from all over the world. Saudi enterprises have been quick to embrace and adopt digital transformation initiatives to achieve the goals set forth in the Saudi Vision 2030. Cutting-edge technologies such as analytics, AI automation, and cybersecurity have facilitated and supported this transition. In such an environment, it is crucial that the IT infrastructure supporting this shift is secure and resilient. "We have seen tremendous progress being made in the areas of digital transformation in government, public sector and private sector in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region over the last twelve months. Inside Saudi Arabia, immersive technologies are fundamental in training and education and high-end services that are an integral part of the transformation of the Kingdom as captured in Saudi Vision 2030. We look forward to presenting our range of solutions and engaging with business decision-makers at LEAP 2023," said Zaid Al Mashari, CEO of PROVEN Solution. Under its umbrella, PROVEN Consult, PROVEN Robotics and PROVEN Reality will be showcasing their latest VR, AI, and Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) technologies as well as robotics solutions at the event in line with the company's commitment to demonstrate innovation across sectors. PROVEN Solution will showcase its strategy and technology solutions, which fit in with the organization's regional attempts to harness technology driven by innovation. PROVEN Robotics will display its complete line of robots to visitors while promoting its robotics management platform, PRoMS. Immersive technology solutions for healthcare, education, construction and engineering will be presented by PROVEN Reality. Additionally, with businesses intensifying their digital transformation efforts, the global threat landscape continues to evolve. Data privacy and protection are increasingly a top priority for organizations in Saudi Arabia. Considering the Kingdom has mandated that government agencies and businesses comply with key laws and regulations, ManageEngine will leverage LEAP as a platform to educate and help organizations comply with various standards, regulations and laws on data security and management. At the four-day event, the company will showcase its entire portfolio of over 60 products that can help businesses of all sizes manage their IT infrastructure, covering IT service management, operations management, security, Active Directory management, endpoint management and analytics. ` "As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gears up to realize Vision 2030, technology is going to be an important underpinning for all businesses. Equally challenging is managing the deployment and consumption of technology, to ensure both optimal ROI and operational efficiency. This is where ManageEngine can help businesses in Saudi Arabia, where we have had our foot on the ground for more than 18 years now," said Rajesh Ganesan, president at ManageEngine. Furthermore, the internet of things (IoT) is advancing at an astonishing pace, and supporting this rate of growth demands ever more powerful IT networks. Simultaneously, bandwidth requirements are increasing along with the need for power and data. This means that established network connections are reaching their limits and it is vital to think about new technologies that will be capable of meeting the demand for data traffic. Arafat Yousef, MEA Managing Director of Nexans Data Network Solutions commented, "As enterprises continue to grow, it is imperative that networking and data transfer infrastructures grow alongside in order to avoid bottlenecks during critical moments of business. For us, LEAP 2023 is the perfect opportunity to showcase what our products can do, and how businesses in the country can benefit from our technology. We are excited to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 plan by providing organizations with the right architecture to attract investment and create jobs, while helping them boost their business in terms of experience, reliability, and performance." Nexans Telecom Systems will be showcasing a range of networking solutions for enterprises and data centres. Its offerings include: LANmark, a high-performance physical infrastructure solution using all media types and a total system approach; LANactive, which will cover Nexans Fibre To The Office systems including Nexans' award-winning Digital Ceiling switch, DICE and Office Switches; and LANsense, the Nexans Automated Infrastructure Management (AIM) solution, that uses a combination of software & hardware, to automate the documentation of physical networks and enable more efficient management for data centres and enterprises. Among the many exhibitors to look out for, these tech innovators should not be missed at LEAP 2023.
