The new services included the service of requesting delivery of the national identity card (ID) while issuing it for the first issue via postal mail to the national address of the beneficiary. The Absher also launched service of activating the ID card electronically. The other services are the smart assistant service for uploading the personal image in the national identity services, and the launch of the service of 'my updated data'. Lt. Gen. He said that the launched services would enable beneficiaries to apply for the service through the Ministry of Interior's electronic platform Absher, and the Absher application for smart phones.
