RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Thursday Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his accompanying delegation. During the reception, the two sides reviewed the brotherly relations and joint cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. They also discussed ways to enhance joint work in all areas of cooperation. The Saudi and Egyptian foreign ministers chaired the meetings of the follow-up and political consultation committee at the ministerial level between Saudi Arabia and Egypt where they discussed intensifying cooperation in the political fields. They also discussed ways to strengthen coordination on several issues of concern to the two countries to serve common interests. The latest regional and international developments and efforts exerted in that regard also figured in the talks. Prince Faisal held a luncheon in honor of the Egyptian Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation. The reception and the consultative meeting were attended by officials from the two countries.
