DOHA —Three first-class European clubs expressed their desire to sign a deal with Saudi national team player Saud Abdulhamid after watching his brilliant performance as a Saudi defender during the matches with Argentina and Poland in the first and second rounds of the group stage of the World Cup 2022. Speaking to Okaz/Saudi Gazette, well-informed sources revealed that two English clubs and a Spanish club will officially present their offers to Al-Hilal club after the World Cup, to contract with Saud during the winter or summer period, in the event that his club agrees to their best offer. It is noteworthy that Saud moved from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal during the last winter transfer season, after a joint agreement between the administrations of the two clubs. This is after the Ittihad administration confirmed that the club did not want to renew the contract with the player. Saud, 22, who hails from Jeddah, joined Al-Hilal under a free transfer deal and concluded a professional contract that ends in January 2025, during which the player will receive approximately SR4.2 million per season, in addition to a house and a car.
