ARLINGTON — After all those solo home runs, Nelson Cruz and the Texas Rangers got a few extra runs with their big swings. They might finally be finding their offensive groove. Cruz hit his fifth career grand slam, one of four homers by the Rangers in an 11-3 victory Sunday to complete a three-game sweep over the Seattle Mariners. Leonys Martin's first major league homer tied the game 1-all in the third, the first of four consecutive innings that Texas homered. That was the 19th homer of the season for Texas, the 15th solo shot, but the rest Sunday produced multiple runs. Mitch Moreland hit a two-run homer in the fourth, followed by Cruz's slam that went an estimated 431 feet to left-center field that capped a five-run fifth that chased Aaron Harang (0-2). Adrian Beltre hit a two-run homer in the sixth. Indians 5, Astros 4: Mark Reynolds' seventh homer of the season put Cleveland on top in the seventh inning and the Indians held on for a win over the Houston Astros. The home run by Reynolds, who also homered in Cleveland's 19-6 win Saturday, was one of four solo homers for the Indians, who took two of three in the series. Blue Jays 8, Yankees 4: J.P. Rays 8, Athletics 1: Roberto Hernandez pitched six effective innings for his first win since he was known as Fausto Carmon, and the Tampa Bay Rays completed a three-game sweep of the Oakland Athletics with a victory. Royals 4, Red Sox 2: Royals 5, Red Sox 4: Lorenzo Cain drew a walk with two outs and the bases loaded in the 10th inning to give Kansas City a victory over the Boston Red Sox and complete a sweep of a day-night doubleheader. Ervin Santana (2-1) pitched seven strong innings in the opener, when Kansas City won. Kelvin Herrera (2-2) got the win in the night game, a makeup of the one postponed on Friday because of the hunt for the Boston Marathon bombers. Angels 4, Tigers 3: Mark Trumbo homered leading the bottom of the 13th inning and Albert Pujols doubled home two runs, leading the Los Angeles Angels to a victory over Detroit for their second straight series sweep of the Tigers.
