MUMBAI — Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now working on their new film “2 States.” The film, which is directed by Sreerag Nambiar, is based on Chetan Bhagat's eponymous book. “2 States” is a love story of a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl and the film revolves around the cultural clash they and their families go through. Bhagat has also written the screenplay of the film. “Just learnt 2 states is possibly the first Bollywood movie to have ever been shot at the IIMA campus,” he tweeted. “At the IIMA student mess. Shot being composed. Unable to describe the feeling. Time travel of sorts,” he further tweeted. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2014. “Long wait. Hopefully, well worth it!” Bhagat posted on Twitter. — SG
