JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, received on Saturday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Jeddah. The German Chancellor begins a two-day tour of the Gulf region. Earlier, Saudi Press Agency said that Scholz arrived on Saturday to Saudi Arabia "on a working visit." Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, the German Chancellor was received by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; Mohammed Al-Jadaan, minister of finance who will serve as accompanying minister of the visiting delegation, and a number of senior officials. The German Chancellor's will also visit the UAE and Qatar in the next two days. (Developing)
