NEW YORK — Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers, and Envoy for Climate Adel Al-Jubeir has met counterparts on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Al-Jubeir met Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Holguín, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia Rogelio Mayta, UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, and Norway's Minister of Climate and Environment Espen Barth Eide. They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in all fields, in addition to discussing ways to enhance joint coordination on many issues regarding the environment and climate change, and the international efforts exerted in this regard. Al-Jubeir also discussed the importance of strengthening joint coordination concerning the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP27, which will be held next November, and the international efforts made in this regard.
