JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman congratulated King Charles III on his accession to the British throne during a phone call on Thursday, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. King Salman wished King Charles success in serving the interests of the British people. The Saudi monarch said he was looking forward to strengthening relations between the two friendly countries. During the call, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to King Charles, the royal family and to the British people on the death of Queen Elizabeth II. King Charles expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his noble feelings and affirmed his keenness and interest in strengthening relations between the two friendly countries.
