JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman offered condolences to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt over the death of many people in a fire that broke out in a church in the country. According to press reports, an electrical fire that swept through Al-Munira Coptic Christian church during Mass on Sunday killing at least 41 people and injuring many others in the city of Giza, near Cairo. In a cable of condolences sent to El-Sisi, the King said: "We came to know about the news of a fire at Al-Munira Church in Giza governorate, and the resulting deaths and injuries. We offer to you and the families of the deceased our deepest and sincere condolences," the King said while wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. The Crown Prince also sent a similar cable of condolences to El-Sisi.
