MINA — Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassami, director of Public Security and chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, inspected the Command of the Hajj Security Forces and the supporting security and military wings participating in this year's Hajj at the Holy Sites. He also reviewed the security cordon around these facilities. During the visit, the field commanders briefed Lt. Gen. Al-Bassami on the security, traffic and organizational plans that are being implemented by various agencies with the aim of ensuring the safety and security of the pilgrims. Earlier, addressing a press conference of the Hajj security forces on Monday, Al-Bassami declared the readiness of all security and military sectors to render the best possible services during Hajj. "All plans are in place for a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage," he said while reiterating that there is no room for political slogans at the Holy Sites during Hajj.
