369 Art Gallery announced the organizing of an exhibition, featuring some of the greatest up-and-coming talents of the Saudi art scene Saturday, illustrating the diversity of the Saudi cultural identity, and questioning the re-composition of the contemporary identity. The 14 young artists and 34 artworks chosen for this exhibition explore the many styles, genres and mediums that are universal within contemporary art. This exhibition will take place in one of the most important cities of art, Venice, under the umbrella of Venice Biennale 2022, from July 13 to Aug. 13, 2022. This exhibition dedicated to the Saudi visual artists, introduces the concept of cultural re-composition and propose its effects on group interaction processes of the artists. "By this curation we are questioning the re-composition of art and the art of re-composition, a study made by different Saudi artists, from different perspective, of their own cultural identity. "It is also revealing a cultural identity that has existed for thousands years, a rich legacy and heritage, at the same time, so new to the world, that is discovering all its aspects," organizers said in their announcement. The curatorial team leaded by Mona Al Abdullah and Maya Al Abdullah have in their portfolio 50 art exhibitions, two festivals and one Magnum award. — SG
