The Saudi development efforts in Yemen have contributed to improving the infrastructure of various vital and basic sectors that benefit Yemeni citizens who are the most important component of the various projects and initiatives offered by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY). Marib Governorate Saturday witnessed the inauguration of two educational programs to develop the Saba Region University and establishing a center for the talented, where 80 housing units were delivered as part of the adequate housing project in Aden Governorate. This is in addition to inaugurating four government projects of security centers a few days ago to help contribute to instilling security and stability in Socotra. Also, phases of the "renewable energy to improve the quality of life in Yemen" project are being implemented in the governorates of Hadramout, Lahij, Abyan, Taiz and Hodeidah with a total cost of $2.1 million in partnership with Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) and "Sila" with the use of clean energy technologies to provide drinking and irrigation water and lighting public facilities and houses. This is in a bid to improve the services of vital sectors, develop the living conditions of Yemeni citizens, and contribute to developing the infrastructure and basic services inside Yemen. Recently, a ceremony was held to conclude the "work paths within the project to build up the future of the Yemeni youth" program, which benefited 509 graduates from Aden University with the aim of supporting their access to the labor market. These projects are part of 207 development projects and initiatives that SDRPY implemented in various Yemeni governorates to serve Yemenis in seven main sectors: education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture and fishery and building the capacity of government institutions and development programs. — SPA
