Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh in Jeddah has met with Grand Mufti and head of the Islamic Sheikhdom in Kosovo Sheikh Naim Ternava, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia. The minister spoke about the efforts of the Kingdom, upon directives of its wise leadership, in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, caring for the two Holy Mosques and their visitors of pilgrims and Umrah performers, spreading the principles of moderation and tolerance, and combating extremism and hate. For his part, Sheikh Ternava extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince on the King's discharge from hospital following medical tests, treatment plan and a recovery period. He also praised the historical positions of the Kingdom toward Kosovo's people and the assistance that contributed to overcoming crises that faced Kosovo over history. He commended the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, in serving Islam and Muslims, caring for the two Holy Mosques and facilitating their visitors to perform rituals easily and with tranquillity. He also referred to the constructive cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for the service of Islam and caring for Muslims in Kosovo, spreading the values of moderation and implementing Ramadan programs that serve the entire people of Kosovo. Sheikh Ternava stressed the keenness of the Sheikhdom in Kosovo to benefit from the experiment of Saudi Arabia in serving Islam, combating extremism and hate, and spreading tolerance. — SPA
