Royal Jet, the Abu Dhabi-headquartered international luxury executive flight services company, chaired by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, is strengthening its competitive position in Saudi Arabia. In line with its strategy to consolidate its position as the Middle East's leading private jet charter company with a 16 percent share and year-on-year growth of around 30 percent, Royal Jet is launching a new pricing structure for all GCC countries. John Morgan, Royal Jet's vice president for Commercial, said while the calculations of previous prices were based on where the aircraft originated from, in the future, they would be priced from where the guests started their flight. In other words, he said, if clients were traveling from Jeddah to Beirut, they would only be charged for that part of the journey, and not for the Abu Dhabi to Jeddah leg. “We know from customer feedback that many potential travelers in Saudi Arabia have heard great things about Royal Jet and are extremely keen to use us. Royal Jet has strong ambitions to grow throughout the region, and we have therefore decided to level the playing field so that people throughout Saudi Arabia can take advantage of our leading product at an extremely competitive price. “We have applied this pricing policy on flights from Dubai for some time with dramatic results, and so we are now expecting a surge in bookings from within the Kingdom,” he added. “The savings for our clients could well be substantial. If a client wanted to fly on one of our Boeing Business Jets from Jeddah to Geneva, for instance, it will now cost approximately 20 per cent less than before since the positioning sector will not be included in the calculation of the overall cost,” he added. Abdullah Al-Sayed, Royal Jet's regional sales director in Saudi Arabia, said: “We are convinced that this will be warmly welcomed by both our existing guests and potential new customers, as we increase our presence across the Middle East. We now have a strong sales team in Jeddah from where we can offer excellent bespoke deals to our Saudi clients.” “It is yet another example of why Royal Jet was recently voted the World's Leading Private Jet Charter and Business Jet Provider of the Year,”he added. __
