JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed on Friday Pakistani Prime Minister Sherif Shehbaz at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. In turn, the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and to meet with the Crown Prince. During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal and historical relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. They also discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation and promising opportunities as well as the ways of developing them in various fields. The two sides also reviewed all regional and international issues and discussed a number of issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of National Guard, Prince Khalid bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense; Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, National Security Adviser, Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, who is also the accompanying minister; Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi; a number of ministers and senior officials and the Pakistani Prime Minister's accompanying delegation. It is noteworthy that the Pakistani Prime Minister visit to Saudi Arabia is considered his maiden foreign trip after being sworn in as prime minister of Pakistan earlier this month.
