RIYADH — Several regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will expect a change in the weather starting from Wednesday (April 20) to Sunday, witnessing thunderstorms, hail, stirring dust and an active velocity of air currents, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said. In its statement, the NCM said that the activity of the stirring dust leads to a near lack of horizontal visibility in some governorates of the Kingdom, such as the governorates of Asir, Jazan, Al-Baha, Najran, Makkah and Madinah. The activity of the dust will continue until Sunday (April 24) to also include the Qassim and Riyadh regions, NCM confirmed. Parts of the northern border regions, Al-Jouf and Tabuk will witness heavy rain, the NCM said, noting that initial forecasts indicate that chances of rain will continue in most regions of Saudi Arabia until the end of next week.
