MUMBAI — Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's fascination with Shakespearean plays are well-known. His two previous film “Omkara” and “Maqbool” were adapted from the popular playwright-poet's drama. For his upcoming venture Bhardqaj has roped in Shahid Kapoor for the lead role. A source said: “Vishal's outing (Kaminey) with Shahid last time was a success. However they weren't on very friendly terms as both had creative differences. Later, Shahid even refused to do “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.” But now all's well between the two.” While some insiders believe that Bhardwaj's next would be based on Hamlet, some say it could be King Lear, ndtv.com reported. — SG
