The maneuvers of mixed bilateral naval exercise "Morjan 17" between the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Egyptian Naval Forces started Sunday at King Faisal Naval Base in the Western Fleet. Commander of the Western Fleet, Rear Admiral Yahya Bin Mohammed Al-Asiri, said that the exercise aims to strengthen the relations and joint cooperation, raise the level of combat readiness between the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Egyptian Naval Forces. It also seeks to unify the operational concepts between the two sides to confront threats in the region, and exchange experiences in methods and ways of implementing naval tasks. — SPA
