Pakistan's leading fast bowler Mohammad Asif has been ruled out of next month's one-day series against Bangladesh. Coach Geoff Lawson told reporters that Asif was not ready to play in the five-match series starting on April 8 because he has not completed his rehabilitation following elbow surgery in Australia two months ago. “Everybody else is fit for Bangladesh and that is a big bonus for us. Asif hopefully is also not too far away from playing again,” Lawson said. Ashraful was fined 25 percent of his salary for the month of March for hitting a fan during a practice session in Dhaka eight days ago. Pacers Mashrafe Mortaza and Syed Rasel and spinner Abdur Razzak were also fined 20 percent of their salary for playing in a domestic tournament without permission from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The BCB also warned pacer Shahadat Hossain for making gestures toward the spectators.Lanka revises India tour Sri Lanka said Wednesday it had been forced to change the itinerary for India's tour of the island later this year because of a lack of hotel rooms due to a summit of South Asian leaders in Colombo. The first Test, which was originally scheduled to be held in Galle, will now be played at the Sinhalese sports club in Colombo, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said in a release. Galle will hold the second Test, while the third will be played at the Premadasa stadium in the Sri Lankan capital. India will also play five one-day internationals against the hosts after the Test series. __
