RIYADH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued on Thursday instructions to all air carriers operating in Saudi airports with regard to complying with coronavirus protocols following the lifting of the suspension of direct entry to the Kingdom from six countries. GACA called on all carriers to enlighten their travellers about the importance of strictly complying with all precautionary measures and preventive protocols against coronavirus while entering the Kingdom. GACA instructed that the airlines shall follow the procedures for the direct entry to the Kingdom from Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Brazil and Vietnam effective from 1:00 am on Wednesday, Dec. 1. All those who are traveling to the Kingdom from these countries are required to remain in five-day institutional quarantine, according to the order issued by the Ministry of Interior.
