Nadia Al-Fawaz Saudi Gazette ABHA — The Asir municipality has denied recent reports on social media that a worker was arrested in a restaurant for selling dog meat to Asians working on a university project. Spokesman for the municipality Mohammad Al-Beshri said the reports are absolutely untrue. The municipality has thoroughly investigated the claims and there was no substance to them, he said. He warned against spreading such rumors and said if anyone had any genuine complaints they should call the emergency number 940 to contact the local authorities.
