Owais markets in Riyadh were robbed Sunday morning. Burglars broke open the doors of the shops and stole electronic items, cash and other valuable items. Some shops' losses ranged between SR8,000 to SR10,000. An Abayas shop sustained SR20,000 loss according to the owner, said that the average amount of money stolen from every shop was about SR3,000. Store owners urged the Mayoralty to force shop owners in Al-Owais Market to hire security guards. The burglars focused on shops located inside the market and did not touch the ones on Olaiya General Road and King Fahd Road. – Al
