King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has expressed pleasure at the advanced level reached by Saudi women in various areas including education. He also noted their efforts exerted in the service of the homeland with their commitment to the teachings of the tolerant religion and good customs and traditions. Addressing Princess Dr. Al-Joharah Bint Fahd Al-Saud, President of the University of Riyadh for Girls and the accompanying university's vice-presidents and deans of colleges who called on him in Jeddah on Sunday, the Monarch expressed his appreciation for their great strides towards securing a quality higher education for Saudi women. King Abdullah asked the university officials to enhance women's education and open it up for more disciplines.The university delegation also called on Crown Prince Sultan. The university's annual report for the academic year 1428-1429 (Hijra) was also presented to the Crown Prince. The audience was attended by Prince Dr. Mishaal Bin Abdullah Bin Musaed, Advisor to the Crown Prince, and Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education.
