JANADRIYAH – A lock said to be the biggest in the world is being displayed at the Makkah region pavilion participating in the 28th National Festival for Heritage and Culture at Janadriyah. The man who came up with the idea to make the lock, Muhammad Rajab Sadiq, told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that it took him and his son Anas three months to make the lock in Taif. The lock is 5 meters long, 2.44 meters wide and 60 centimeters thick. He added that the key is 1.35 meters long with a diameter of 11 inches. He said they will work hard to have the lock registered in the Guinness Book of Records. – SG/SPA
