The Saudi Taekwondo Federation concluded the first taekwondo championship for karouki "fight" on Sunday at the University of Business and Technology Hall in Jeddah. The arbitration was conducted by a Saudi female team consisting of judges Sahar Momina, Safaa Al-Noamani, Arwa Abdel Hamid, Nujoud Kamal, Ghalia Ghaly, Alia Fadan, and Fatima Ait Hammou. Eleven teams participated in the tournament. The teams Andalusia, Al Reem Academy, Waj Clubs, Al Shams, Rowad Al Arab, Arts of Asia, Alliance, Steps of Heroes, Al Aqeeq, Princess Noura University, and Abrar Academy took part. Al-Reem Academy topped the overall rankings with Steps of Heroes ranking second and Abrar Academy winning the third spot, completing the final order to winners. In terms of other awards, Al-Aqeeq Club won the Ideal Team Award, and the Reem Academy won the Fighting Spirit Award. The President of the Saudi Taekwondo Federation Brig. Gen. Shaddad Bin Tal Al-Omari praised the technical display that was embodied during the competitions.
