RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned and denounced the terrorist Houthi militia's attack on the Al-Anad military base in the Yemeni province of Lahj, which led to killing and injuring dozens. In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry asserted on "the Kingdom's stand and its full solidarity with Yemen, renewing the Kingdom's position and calling for an end to the continued flow of weapons to the terrorist Houthi militia, preventing their export to Yemen, and ensuring that they do not violate United Nations resolutions." The statement reiterated Saudi Arabia's firm position in supporting the Yemeni people and their legitimate government in reaching a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis. The ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the Yemeni government and people, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. Earlier, scores of Yemeni Army troops were killed and many others were injured in a ballistic missile attack by Houthi militias on a military base in Lahij province south of Yemen.
