RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the anniversary of his country's National Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday. In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy wished the Egyptian president good health and happiness and the government and people of Egypt steady progress and prosperity. King Salman highlighted in the cable strong relations between the countries and the keenness of both sides to develop them further. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman also sent a similar cable to the Egyptian president. The National Day in Egypt is celebrated on July 23, which coincides with the annual celebration of the Egyptian revolution of 1952 when the modern republic of Egypt was declared, ending the monarchy.
