RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman met on Tuesday with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. The Kuwaiti crown prince, who arrived in Saudi Arabia earlier in the day on his first official trip abroad since assuming his position in October 2020, expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and meet with his Saudi counterpart. At the beginning of the meeting, the Crown Prince received a written message delivered by Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah addressed to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman from Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two brotherly countries, aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and opportunities in support of its development. They also reviewed regional and international developments and the efforts made toward them in a way that enhances security and stability. The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Prince Turki Bin Muhammad Bin Fahd, National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Bin Muhammad Al-Aiban and Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan Bin Saad Bin Khalid. Sheikh Mishal is leading a high-level delegation during his visit that includes the country's energy minister, foreign minister, interior minister, the Kuwaiti ambassador to Saudi Arabia and other top officials. The high-ranking Kuwaiti ministers and officials also attended the meeting.
