JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense has invited applications from both men and women candidates for enlistment in the military services, the ministry said in a statement on its official Twitter account on Thursday. According to the statement, the General Administration of Admission and Recruitment at the ministry has opened the portal for unified admission and recruitment of men and women to join the military service at different ranks from soldier to sergeant. Those wishing to apply should visit the unified admission portal for the registration which begins on April 25 (Sunday), the statement added. The Saudi defense ministry recently opened the way for both genders to sign up through a unified admission. Military ranks from soldier to sergeant will be available in the Saudi Arabian Army, Royal Saudi Air Defense, Royal Saudi Navy, Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force, and Armed Forces Medical Services.
