RIYADH — Critical cases infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) are in a phase of fluctuation and the number of vaccines administered has reached 3,026,355 doses, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced Sunday. "There is no need to postpone pregnancy after taking the vaccine. In addition, a breastfeeding woman can take the vaccine, and it will not affect her or the infant," the spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Muhammad Al-Aali confirmed, during a press conference. He added that there is no correlation between vaccines as a cause of clots, and all the specialized and concerned scientific bodies have proved that this information is incorrect and inaccurate, indicating that the only contraindication to taking the vaccine is severe over-immunity from the vaccine itself. The spokesman said, "There have been no deaths reported due to or related to the introduction of the vaccine in Saudi Arabia."
