ABU DHABI — Saudi Arabia's Gulf allies and others have strongly condemned the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias for attempting to target civilians and civilian structures in the Saudi city of Khamis Mushayt. The United Arab Emirates said that these systematic terrorist attacks by the Houthi group reflect its blatant disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms. In a statement, the UAE's foreign ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated acts, which threaten security and stability in the Kingdom. It also stressed that the continued threat of these attacks in recent days is a grave escalation that represents new evidence of these militias' attempts to undermine security and stability in the region. The UAE's foreign ministry reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia over these terrorist attacks and reiterated its stance against all threats to the Kingdom's security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. The statement emphasized that "the security of the UAE and Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat facing the Kingdom is considered by the Emirates a threat to its security and stability." Bahrain stressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to protect its security and territorial integrity. In a statement, Bahrain's foreign ministry called upon the international community and the United Nations to condemn the continuous Houthi attacks on cities, facilities, and safe civilians in Saudi Arabia. The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also strongly condemned the attack. In a statement, Secretary General of the OIC Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen reiterated OIC's stand and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
