Multiple justice reforms and digital transformation among major Justice Ministry's achievements Saudi courts held 10 million sessions; issued 3 million judgments in 5 years

RIYADH — The Ministry of Justice has issued a report titled the "Vision and impact," highlighting the most prominent judicial achievements made during the last five years.
The report sheds light on multiple justice reforms and the digital transformation of many judicial procedures and implementing many projects, initiatives, decisions, and legislations that aimed to achieve efficiency, distinction and innovation in judicial services and sectors.
The courts across the Kingdom witnessed more than 10 million judicial sessions and the issuance of about three million judgments during the past five years.
In the same period, enforcement courts received more than three million implementation requests, 99 percent of which were dealt with electronically without the need to use paper or the presence of the beneficiaries.
In the documentation sector, the ministry has witnessed the implementation of more than 25 million operations, as beneficiaries during the past five years issued 11 million agencies, including 4.4 million electronic agencies, in addition to real estate documentation operations that amounted to more than seven million operations.
The reconciliation sector recorded many achievements where the recently launched Taradi platform provided its services to more than 297,000 beneficiaries.
During the past five years, the average users of the najiz.sa portal was about 70,000 beneficiaries per day, while the ministry's portal used during the same period by more than 44 million users.
The report showed the impact achieved during the past years, including the transformation to the institutional judiciary, the development of the objective judicial consideration, the completion of the specialized judiciary system, and the achievement of more justice and judicial guarantees through the activation of many procedures.
The report also included multiple justice reforms to overcome any obstacles that may face women and empower them, contribute to preserving and protecting the family, and contribute to the issuance of a set of laws, regulations and rules.
The report included the digital transformation of many judicial procedures; the development of monitoring tools and the means of follow-up and transparency; the activation of the prisoner services system; the complete digital transformation of the execution judiciary and the development of its tools; the complete digital transformation of documentation; in addition to enhancing real estate security; activating the reconciliation system; developing human cadres; taking care of the beneficiaries and strive to achieve their satisfaction, and monitor the Kingdom's progress in the World Bank indices related to the judicial process.
The report monitored the most prominent numbers recorded by courts and notaries, in addition to the statistics of the digital platforms that the ministry launched during the reporting period.
