Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines is today a four star airline with a fleet of 211 aircraft (passenger and cargo) flying to 220 cities around the world, comprised of 36 domestic and 182 international destinations. TURKISH Airlines, the national carrier of Turkey and Europe's best airline, has added Houston to its growing Middle East network with flights launched starting from April 1, 2013, the 220th destination of the largest country-network for an airline worldwide. Houston is Turkish Airlines fifth destination in America and the latest in a series of new routes added to the fast growing international network of 98 countries, all connecting Middle East travelers to more countries than any other airline. In celebration of the new route, Turkish Airlines has launched introductory round trip fares starting at SR3,984 Economy Class (inclusive of taxes and fees) from Jeddah via Istanbul to Houston, the fourth largest city in the US, now frequented by increasing numbers of both tourists and discerning business travelers from the Middle East. Turkish Airlines will initially operate four flights between Istanbul and Houston on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The routes available from Saudi Arabia are from Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Taif and Yanbu and Houston adds to four existing destinations in America which include Chicago, New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles. Passengers can book the introductory fare tickets by May 26, 2013, for travel up to April 1, 2014. — SG
