The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Friday a project to distribute 22,550 winter clothes and 45,100 quilts to support the needy people in Pakistan. The project aims to provide support to 135,000 people in different parts of Pakistan. One bag contains a number of clothes, blankets, and other winter supplies. The governor of the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Farman, extended sincere thanks and appreciation on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown. He also thanked the Kingdom and its citizens for the support they provide to needy families in Pakistan, stressing that Saudi Arabia has spared no effort in standing by the people of Pakistan during their times. The governor highlighted the efforts of KSrelief in his country, saying it is providing all kinds of aid to the needy. Meanwhile, KSrelief distributed on Thursday shelter materials including 98 tents, 596 blankets, 200 rugs and 147 shelter bags, in Hadhramaut governorate, Yemen, benefiting 882 people. The aid comes within the framework of the urgent aid provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to the displaced people affected by the heavy rains, in several Yemeni governorates. — SG
