As many as 356 female students from Languages and Translation Department at King Khalid University were able to translate about 400 articles from English into Arabic with the aim of enriching the Arabic content on the free encyclopedia "Wikipedia" in the most scientifically effective way. The work was supervised by a number of faculty members of the department, where a course was held remotely and included instructions on how to publish the articles' translation on Wikipedia. Articles were published after being approved and corrected by editors and administrators of the encyclopedia. This comes as part of the WikiDowen Project adopted by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah). This project aims at contributing to raising the number of Arabic articles that only represent 13% of the total other languages on Wikipedia. The WikiDowen Project focuses on enriching the Arab and Islamic content on Wikipedia, through the creation, development and translation of the encyclopedia's articles in foreign languages, by referring to documented information. — SPA
