DUBAI — From April 18 to May 4 the Dubai Marina Fine Art Show will take place at the Grosvenor House to reveal an impressive collection of artwork from the renowned Bel-Air Fine Art Gallery. The exhibition is an opportunity for art lovers and connoisseurs to admire paintings and sculptures by 23 acclaimed artists including Salvador Dali, Patrick Hughes, Richard Orlinski, Julien Marinetti and Chayan Khoi. The show has been curated to offer a unique perspective on the Neo Pop Art and Post Surrealism movements. It is hoped that the pop up show will become a credible fixture in Dubai's ever-increasing art scene. The Dubai Marina Fine Art Show is the vision of Francois Chabanian, owner and CEO of Bel-Air Fine Art Galleries group (Geneva, Saint-Tropez, Crans-Montana, Verbier, Porto-Cervo,Forte Del Marmi), Chabanian has been known to not only nurture the evolution of contemporary art, but also participate in its re-invention. From Dali, the celebrated Spanish surrealist painter best known for his striking and bizarre images, to Hughes, the renowned British creator of “reverspective,” the art show will bring together an exciting array of pieces by European contemporary masters. Amongst others, Orlinkski, the acclaimed French sculptor will present his work “Born Wild” which is a creation of works that reflect on impulses; distinguished Frenchman Marinetti whose shining dog sculptures made of alloying bronze with techniques using industrial lacquers and paint, and Iranian born Khoi who will be present at the opening of the fair to reveal his masterpieces in which he preserves memory by immortalizing moment through visual imagery.
