The General Entertainment Authority (GEA), under the direction of Turki Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh, chairman of GEA, launched at the end of last month the identity of the 90th Saudi National Day: Himma Hatta Al-Qimmah (Passion to the Top), which is an extension of the identity of last year's celebration as a dedication to the meanings and connotations of the phrase. The national identity that GEA tried to unify among all the participants in the celebrations was widespread. Roads and building walls were decorated with it. It was used in a large number of applications of the public and private agencies; as an expression of national pride, and love that surrounds the nation citizens. GEA did not overlook to make the identity logo accessible to the ones requesting it. GEA launched a website http://nd.gea.gov.sa / that includes distinctive and diverse files of the national identity, which clearly contributed to the promotion of the beautiful stereotypical image witnessed during the celebration of the most cherished country days. The national identity aims to enhance the values of work and construction for the sake of the nation. It aims to overcome challenges, and emphasize the ability of the people of this nation to reach highest levels of performance and achievement. It includes the meanings of unity, solidarity, national pride and wise leadership that leads the nation towards development, growth and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. The slogan of the National Day Identity (Himma Hatta Al-Qimmah), launched by the GEA last year and this year, has been inspired by words of the Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, "The Saudis strength is like that of the Tuwaiq mountain, unbreakable." In a move aiming to embody the meaning of national cohesion and the depth of national loyalty, the GEA has launched a number of initiatives and events in various regions of the Kingdom during the celebration of the 90th National Day, from Sept. 22-26. This celebration is implemented through a plan that takes into account the conditions that the world is going through today — COVID-19 pandemic. The GEA initiatives included the largest air show on the date of the National Day. In this show, about 60 military and civilian aircrafts participated, in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority and the Saudi Royal Air Force. They made demonstrations in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. These were broadcast live on Saudi Channel One at 4 p.m. Fireworks too were broadcast live on the same channel at 9 p.m. In a move that enhances the meanings of pride in the official "Saudi" national anthem, and develops a sense of creativity, GEA has launched an initiative through the hashtag (#nanshod lel wata (#Sing_National_Anthem). Through this hashtag, the participant will post a short video clip in which he/she sings the national anthem. All these contributions and submissions will be combined to produce a complete and comprehensive artistic work that embodies the collective national joy. GEA took into consideration the participation of young people and plastic artists in the celebration of the National Day. It had launched a "National Day" coloring guide, through which it would be possible to color the precious attractions of our country with its various administrative provinces. Photographers have their share in National Day's activities. GEA has launched a unique initiative under the title "Share a photo of the Country". This initiative allows all of the Kingdom's residents to show their creativity in taking photos of the most beautiful attractions of the Kingdom of Good and Giving (Saudi Arabia). Under the slogan "Himma Hatta Al-Qimmah" (Passion to the Top), lovers of art and music will enjoy an unforgettable national atmosphere. GEA announced a number of concerts that started from the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 22 and will continue until Friday, Sept. 25, in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. GEA allows everyone to watch them live in Shahid and Box apps. — SG
