MANAMA — Bahrain's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that polymerase chain reaction (PCR) certificates accredited by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health within 72 hours after undergoing coronavirus tests would be valid for entry to Bahrain, the Bahrain News Agency reported on Wednesday. He said that the move aims to woo travelers to Bahrain through the King Fahad Causeway and to facilitate their procedures, adding that no other health procedure would be applied. The minister pointed out that work is going on with concerned Saudi authorities to get the results electronically to facilitate the entry of visitors. The minister's statement comes a day after Bahrain set entry procedures for those arriving in the country via the King Fahd Causeway.
