Bahrain's Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi has held a phone call with his Israeli counterpart, Benny Gantz, the Bahrain News Agency reported on Monday. They discussed the importance of the "Abraham Accord" with Israel in enhancing regional stability in the Middle East. The ministers talked about their common expectations for establishing a close partnership between the two defense ministries, which will contribute to developing the capabilities of the two countries and maintaining regional security. The Israeli defense minister proposed to host his Bahraini counterpart during an official visit to Israel. Earlier in the day, Bahrain's Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani and Israel's Regional Cooperation Minister Ofir Akunis held talks and sought to boost commercial relations between the two countries.
